Respect from Soul to Soul avec Deep et Llorca, deux super héros de la scène parisienne. Né en 1974, d'une mère fan de disco et d'un père informaticien, Llorca fait partie de cette génération de musiciens taillés pour les pistes de danse. “Newcomer”, son premier album sur F Com, est d'ailleurs en train de devenir un petit classique de Soul Frenchy, boosté par un “Indigo Blues” tout aussi efficace sur les ondes que dans les clubs. Avec lui, notre godfather DJ Deep, dont les apparitions au Fuse sont restées comme autant de moments suspendus en apesanteur. After Francois K’s triumph in January, Respect is back on Planet Vega for the release of its new compilation mixed by DJ Deep. Cyril Deep is one of the pioneer of the French scene and the finest deep/garage house DJ in Paris. He learned how to mix with Laurent Garnier in the late 80’s and followed his passion, house music, during the 90's from his shows on Radio Nova to his residency at Rex Club in Paris. For this party, Deep wanted to invite one of his favorite deep house producers, the one and only Kerri Chandler, the herald of the New Jersey sound. He will be on the decks with Jerome Sydenham, boss of the very chic Ibadan Records from NYC. Come and dance in the aquarium with Deep, Kerri & Jerome, for a sensual Respect Party from the body to the soul!

Dim' rocked me big time. I'm so glad to have him back in my Manhattan Wonderland. We will begin our evening with Aldo, French New Yorker headmaster of the lovely A1 record shop and Junior will join us in the morning. Exactly like last time. Dimitri told me he's happy to meet all of us again. I love him. He loves us. And I'm sure this second night will be unforgettable.

Attention! To all Danish clubbers, this time is a very special Respect party with the first coming at Vega of our very favorite DJ, mister François Kevorkian from New York City... Born mid 50's in France, François went to NYC 20 years later and started by playing drums in Manhattan clubs alongside the legendary DJ Walter Gibbons. Then François started DJing, remixing and producing various records. In 1978, he became the A&R of cult disco label Prelude, and during the 80's, he worked for more than 100 artists including disco records by Musique, Unlimited Touch, France Joli, electro acts like Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode, and some huge mainstream artists as U2, Eurythmics, Cure, Diana Ross and Mick Jagger, or more recently Moloko, Underworld and Gloria Estefan! He owns his own recording studio, the famous Axis, and in 1994, he launched his own label, Wave Records, well known for classics made by Abstract Truth or Kevin Aviance. Besides playing in the most prestigious clubs and parties worldwide, François is the resident (with Joe Clausell & Danny Krivit) of the fantastic Body&Soul party, every Sunday afternoon at Vynil NYC... Tonight, François will play for Vega his unique selection of open minded music and style, a true “voyage” between sounds & beats, latin & funk, disco & tech, cuban & african... One nation under a groove: the K groove.
